Super easy mod and it makes the key fob so much slimmer!

overall this is a good key fob. ive read other reviews where users have had issues with the lock button sticking and not being “clicky,” but personally i have not had that issue. my issue is that the locking mechanism for the removable key was very stiff and almost not usable. if you’re also having this issue i have the perfect solution. put a couple drops of gun / knife oil. any oil that is meant for long term use. that make the mechanism very easy to push up to insert and remove the key.

Love this new key fob. Matches the ruggedness of the 4Runner instead of the mom/van feeling the original one portrays. Very well made, highly recommend.

Awesome except for the lock button

Love the fob, looks amazing and Is slim and super cool with the purple. My only hangup is the lock button is stiff and is very hard to push; remote start is nearly impossible due to this (3 pushes of the lock button in a row). Have spoken with meso though and this issue had been resolved! Just waiting on the new button to come in and hopefully I'll be able to get my fob back in action! Hopefully this will be soon, I miss using it daily. Other than this I'd give it 5 stars. Silver lining meso knows about it and is on top of it, always taking care of his customers.

Great Upgrade!! however...

I absolutely love the new fob for my 4runner. It was easy to install an well built. I just have one issue with it is that the lock button is not "clicky", it functions perfectly fine but does not have the clicky feedback like the other buttons, I thought this might be from my fob but I also tried to use the spare fob and had the same issue. Not a biggie for me since i rarely use the lock button on my fob. other than that I would've gave it 5 stars
